PROFESI AKUNTANSI



Akuntansi pertama kali dikemukakan oleh seorang sarjana matematika asal Itali yang bernama Luca Pacioli. Definisi Akuntansi adalah proses mengindentifikasikan, mengukur dan melaporkan informasi ekonomi untuk membantu pertimbangan dan pengambilan keputusan yang tepat bagi pemakai informasi tersebut.
Pengertian Etika menurut Maryani dan Ludigdo (2001), “Etika adalah seperangkat aturan atau norma atau pedoman yang mengatur perilaku manusia, baik yang harus dilakukan maupun yang harus ditinggalkan yang dianut oleh sekelompok atau segolongan masyarakat atau profesi”.

Profesi Akuntansi dibagi menjadi dua, yaitu :
1.Profesi Akuntansi Dalam Negeri (Local),
2.Profesi Akuntansi Luar Negeri


          1.Profesi Akuntansi Dalam Negeri (Local)
                   Profesi akuntansi dalam negeri dibagi menjadi empat, yaitu:
a. Akuntan Publik (Public Accountant), adalah akunntan independen yang memberikan jasa-jasanya atas dasar pembayaran tertentu. Akuntan public pada umumnya mendirikan suatu kantor akuntan dan memperoleh izin dari Departemen Keuangan. Ketentuan mengenai praktek Akuntan di Indonesia diatur dengan Undang-Undang Nomor 34 Tahun 1954 yang mensyaratkan bahwa gelar akuntan hanya dapat dipakai oleh mereka yang telah menyelesaikan pendidikannya dari perguruan tinggi dan telah terdaftar pada Departemen Keuangan R.I.

b.    Akuntansi Pemerintah (Government Accountant), adalah akuntan yang bekerja sebagai pemeriksa atau auditor untuk pemerintah baik pemerintah daerah maupun pemerintah pusat dan dapat membantu mengadakan pengawasan dalam pengeluaran dana dari masyarakat sesuai dengan peraturan yang berlaku.

c.    Akuntan Pendidik (Accountant Intruction), adalah akuntan yang bekerja sebagai pengajar pendidikan dan keterampilan akuntansi.

d.    Akuntan Manajemen (Management Accountant), adalah akuntan yang bekerja dalam suatu perusahaan atau organisasi. Tugas yang dikerjakan adalah penyusunan system akuntansi, penyusunan laporan akuntansi kepada pihak intern maupun ekstern perusahaan, penyusunan anggaran, menangani masalah perpajakkan dan melakukan pemeriksaan intern.

2.Profesi Akuntansi Luar Negeri
      Profesi akuntansi luar negeri
a.    Profesi CFA (Chartered Financial Analyst)
Perkembangan yang pesat dari investasi dan keuangan di dunia membutuhkan suatu standar untuk investor dan pemilik perusahaan untuk merekrut professional dalam bidang investasi dan keuangan. Chartered Financial Analyst adalah sertifikasi profesi paling terkemuka untuk professional yang bekerja dibidang keuangan dan investasi. Di Amerika Serikat, memiliki sertifikasi profesi CFA merupakan pencapaian yang sangat tinggi karena material yang diujikan sangat dalam dan praktis dibandingkan dengan gelar lainnya,
·         Persyaratan CFA, CFA pertama kali diberikan pada tahun 1963. CFA didukung oleh CFA Institute yang memberikan gelar sertifikasi profesi ini untuk professional di bidang investasi yang memenuhi criteria sebagai berikut:
1.    Profesi (Profession), pemegang gelar sertifikasi CFA harus memiliki pengalamn professional sekurang-kurangnya empat tahun dalam industry proses pengambilan keputusan di bidang investasi.
2.    Pendidikan (Education), secara berurutan menyelesaikan ujian Level I, Level II, dan Level III (masing-masing selama 6 jam).
3.    Etika (Ethics), pemegang gelar sertifikasi CFA harus setuju dan terikat oleh kode etik yang atur oleh CFA Institute dan standar profesi yang dilaksanakan.
·         Keunggulan CFA, CFA merupakan gelar profesi dengan standar tertinggin untuk pengetahuan, integritas, dan profesionalisme di bidang investasi dan keuangan. Dengan [engakuan dunia untuk kualifikasi kemampuan ini akan memberikan imbalan yang tinggi sebagai pengahargaan dari level yang dalam untuk pengetahuan yang dimiliki oleh pemegang gelar ini di bidang pasar keuangan. Pemegang CFA memiliki kemampuan untuk menganalisa sekuritas, obligasi, derivative, dan rasio laporan keuangan secara efektif. Organisasi yang membutuhkan pemegang CFA adalah manajemen investasi, konsultan, bank, asuransi, pensiun, dan institusi keuangan lainnya. Kebutuhan dari pemegang CFA sangat tinggi karena hanya ada kurang dari 60 orang di Indonesia yang memegang gelar profesi CFA. Di Indonesia, terdapat peningkatan perusahaan multinasional dan local yang membutuhkan calon pekerjanya yang memenuhi kualifikasi sebagai CFA.

b.    Profesi CIA (Certified Internal Auditor)
Internal audit adalah proses penialian independen yang diadakan oleh sebuah organisasi untuk memastikan dan mengevaluasi apakah operasional organisasinya telah berjalan sesuai dengan rencana. Certified Internal Auditor (CIA) merupakan satu-satunya sertifikasi bidang internal audit yang diakui secara internasional. Sertifikasi yang dikeluarkan oleh The Institute of Internal Auditors (The IIA) ini telah berkembang dan dijadikan sebagai pengakuan atas integritas, profesionalisme dan kompetensi pemegangnya di bidang internal audit. Orang yang memiliki sertifikasi CIA akan mendapat pengakuan yang tnggi karena sejauh ini program CIA terkenal memiliki standar pengetahuan, integritas dan profesionalisme yang tinggi pula. Ujian CIA dirancang untuk mengukur kompetensi teknis dasar dari internal auditor, antara lain:
·         Pengetahuan teknis dan aplikasi dari pengetahuan tersebut;
·         Pemahaman tanggung jawab professional;
·         Latihan terhadap keputusan yang baik.

c.    Profesi CPA (Certified Public Accountant)
Merupakan system penyaringan yang baku bagi mereka yang akan berpraktik sebagai akuntan public maupun untuk mereka yang ingin mendapatkan sertifikasi atas kompetensi di bidang akuntansi dengan memperoleh gelar CPA (Certified Public Accountant). Khusus untuk profesi Akuntan Publik, departemen Keuangan Republik Indonesia telah mengeluarkan suatu ketentuan yang mensyaratkan bagi calon Akuntan Publik untuk lulus dari CPA. Keputusan tersebut telah dituangkan dalam Surat Keputusan Menteri Keuangan Republik Indonesia No. 43/KMK.017/1997 tanggal 27 Januari 1997 jo 470/KMK.017/1999 tanggal 4 Oktober 1999.

Hebat, Agnes Monica Raih 7 Piala di Jpop Asia Awards!

JAKARTA- Prestasi Agnes Monica semakin meroket saja, setelah sukses digandeng Michael Bolton, kini Agnes menyabet 7 penghargaan sekaligus dalam Jpop Asia Awards.

Ada sekitar 26 kategori dalam Jpop Asia Awards tersebut dan Agnes mampu memboyong 7 piala yakni Favorite artist/band, Best Female Solo, Most Promising Artist/Band, Best Musical Ability (vocal, instrumental, etc.), Best Use of Social Media (facebook, twitter, etc.), Sexiest Female Singer, dan Most-Wanted To Be Girlfriend.

Pelantun Paralyzed ini pun langsung mengucapkan rasa syukurnya melalui Twitter. “Aaaaargh!!! Puji TUHHAAAAN!! Praise the Lord!!,” tulis Agnes, demikian dikutip dari Twitter pada Senin (25/4/2011).

Pujian dari para penggemar dan artis seperti Mona Ratuliu, Vidi Aldiano, Shireen Sungkar, berdatangan membanjiri timeline Agnes Monica.

Ini adalah prestasi yang tentu saja membanggakan sebab dia harus bersaing juga dengan nama-nama seperti Utada Hikaru, L'Arc en Ciel, Coco Lee dan Super Junior. Dia juga merupakan satu-satunya musisi Indonesia yang masuk dalam ajang penghargaan musik tersebut. Selamat untuk Agnes!(tom)

Bisnis Anak Kampus Minuman Rosella

JAKARTA - Sejak mahasiswa Ahmad Alam dan Aji Bakhtiar, Alumni Institut Pertanian Bogor (IPB) telah menggeluti bisnis minuman rosella.

Awalnya keduanya memulai bisnis tersebut dengan menjadi distributor penjualan minuman rosella. Pada tahun 2009, mereka berinisiatif memproduksi sendiri minuman rosella dan memasarkannya di wilayah kampus.

“Kami memulai dengan modal sederhana yakni kompor, panci dan saringan. Kami memproduksinya di kos. Alhamdulillah produk kami disukai teman-teman. Sekali produksi dihasilkan 25- 50 kemasan minuman rosella,” ujar Aji, demikian dikutip dari situs IPB, Minggu (24/4/2011).

Dari usaha home industry inilah, Ahmad, Aji dan Ary Purbayanto memberanikan diri mengikuti lomba Wirausaha Muda yang diselenggarakan DIKTI, Kemendiknas.

Usaha mereka membuahkan hasil, proposal usaha mereka disetujui dan mendapatkan modal Rp24 juta. Dari situlah mereka mengembangkan usahanya lebih serius lagi. Mereka juga mendapat bimbingan usaha dari seorang staf pengajar IPB.

“Berbagai inovasi produk kami kembangkan. Saat ini kami telah berhasil memproduksi 2.000 botol per hari dan menitipkannya pada sekitar 400 outlet yang tersebar di Jabodetabek," ujar Alam. Menurut Alam, kunci sukses terjun di dunia wirausaha terletak pada “DNA” yakni Dream and Action.

“Kita harus berani bermimpi dan mewujudkan mimpi itu. Memulai usaha tidak harus selalu bermodalkan uang. Kita bisa menjalankan usaha dengan memakai ide usaha, modal dan tenaga orang lain. Semua tergantung dari keberanian dan ketrampilan manajerial kita,” ujar Alam.

Mereka bertekad akan terus menekuni bisnis minuman rosella ini. Mereka berharap usaha rosella dapat membuka lapangan kerja baru bagi lingkungan sekitarnya.

Bunga Rosella atau bahasa latinya Hibiscus Sabdariffa, merupakan jenis tanaman herbal yang sangat berkasiat untuk kesehatan.(rhs)

Audit Pemasaran

DISCUSSION

1. Definition of Marketing Audit

Basically, the audit is a tool for companies to understand how the company relates to the environment in which companies operate. Audit is an enterprise tool to identify strengths and weaknesses as they relate to the opportunities and threats. Audit is a way to help the management to choose a position in the environment based on known factors.
Marketing audit process for many organizations is still relatively new and is an activity that is less utilized. Although there is a substantial collection of evidence and developed by suggesting that the performance of an organization and the market is significantly affected directly by the perception strategist on 3 factors, namely:
a. Now the organization's market position;
b. The nature of environmental threats and opportunities; and
c. The ability of organizations cope with environmental developments.
Definition of the audit has been proposed by Shuchman (1950) and Kotler (1988). For example, Schucman have proposed that the audit is a systematic reviewers, critical, and impartial of the total marketing operation: from the basic objectives and policies and the assumptions that underlie them as well as methods, procedures, personnel and organization that apply to implement policies and achieve the goal.
Kotler's view is broadly similar. According to his marketing audit is a test of a comprehensive, systematic, independent, and periodic / regular basis from a company or business unit marketing environment, objectives, strategies and activities with a view to determining problem areas and opportunities and recommending an action plan to improve company performance.
When combined, these two above definition highlights three key elements and potential benefits of the marketing audit, namely:
a. Analysis of the external environment and internal situation;
b. Assessment of past performance and current activities; and
c. Identify opportunities and threats of the future.
The three elements above are useful and can be viewed against the backdrop of the comments made by Ansoff (1968) which proposes that, "regardless of the size of the organization, corporate decision must be made within the constraints of a limited total resources. By realizing this, strategist and then face the task to produce the pattern of resource allocation that will offer the best potential to meet company objectives. " Therefore, the marketing audit can be viewed as providing a sound basis for the allocation of these resources. That way, every strategy that was developed to be much more consistent, both with the demands of the environment or the right abilities and strengths of the organization.
To summarize, the audit is a structured approach to the collection and analysis of information and data in complex enterprise environments and data within a complex business environment and is an important prerequisite to solving the problem.

2. Audit Forms

Any company that does an audit will face two types of variables. First, there are variables that the company has no direct control. These variables are usually in the form of what can be described as an environment variable, and competitive market. Second, there are variables that the company has full control. These variables can we call as the operational variables. It gives us a clue, that is how we can structure an audit. This will be described in two parts, namely:
a. External audit (external audit)
b. Internal audit (internal audit)
External audits related to the variables that can not be controlled (uncontrollable Variabels), while internal audit related to the variables that can be controlled (Controllable Variabels).
External audit begins with an examination of information on the general economy and then move in view of the health and growth of markets served by the company. The purpose of internal audit is to assess the organization's resources as they relate to the environment and faced with resources from competitors.
According to Richard M.S. Wilson, et al, the structure of the marketing audit consists of 3 major diagnostic step is detailed, including reviewers from:
a. Organizational environment (opportunities and threats);
b. Marketing system (strengths and weaknesses); and
c. Marketing activities.
The first of the above are designed to define the various dimensions of the marketing environment, the possibility of how these dimensions will change and the possible impact of such changes to the organization. The second phase associated with an assessment of the extent to which the marketing system is capable of relating to environmental demands. The last phase includes a review of the individual components of the marketing mix. As already noted in advance, it was clear in conducting an audit, strategists pay attention to two types of variables. First, environmental or market variables (environmental or market variables) that strategists have little or no direct control. Second, the operational variables (operational variables) that can be controlled more or less. 5. Marketing Audit Steps

In conducting marketing audits, both Grashof (1975) or Cannon (1968) recommend a procedure with a wise move. In this way, they argued, the approach ensures a level of consistency that allows a comparison of one period to another.
According to Grashof, the steps are:
a. Pre-audit activities (pre-audit activities), the auditor decides the proper scope and focus of the audit.
